Tips and Tricks
Once you are comfortable using the Back▪Tract and need to decompress due to pain associated with compressed discs, use several times a day for shorter periods instead of one long period. When I was in the worst pain I found the best results by decompressing 4 or 5 times a day for a minute or two each time.
Decompression along with stretching worked very well for me. Prior to decompressing I always do a “cobra stretch” for a minute, laying flat on my stomach raising to my elbows, and eventually my hands, allowing my hips to slump to the ground to allow my lumbar curve to be re-introduced to my lower back.
For maintenance of a pain free back, I use my Back▪Tract every night before bed for 30 seconds. It allows me take away the decompression caused during the day, and I feel like my back is able to spend all night recovering as I sleep.
